Some changes may require planning permission if there are changes to the exterior of the home.
Outside
Access to the property is by way of a sliding double gate that opens onto a spacious driveway that leads both to the side and the front of the house. There is parking for several cars and a motor home is required.
Immediately off the kitchen is a covered seating and BBQ area. This is a fabulous area to enjoy and to entertain guests in, it provides shade in the hot summer months and provides a wonderful outside area to enjoy even in the cooler winter months.
To the front is a large driveway and path that is finished in block paving. The path leads to the covered front terrace and front door. A 15 minute drive takes you to the nearby city of Ourém. Ourém itself, reflects the country’s rich history and captivating beauty. Located at a high point, this picturesque town has breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. History and nature lovers alike, are frequent visitors to this area.
The fabulous and majestic Ourém Castle is situated between Fátima and Ourém. Visitors can wander through the castle’s battlements, enjoying the panoramic vistas of the rolling hills the countryside beyond. Ourém has supermarkets, cafes, restaurants, banks, shops, many restaurants, doctors, dentists and all other conveniences you would expect from a town of this size.
