A two-storey Venetian-style stone house is located in the quiet village of Maroulas, near Rethymno. The house has been completely renovated in accordance with archaeological permits and regulations. It is fully furnished.

The living area of the house is 221 m2. Natural materials were used in order to maintain the desired authenticity in combination with antique furniture and stylish details. Parquet floors, beamed ceilings and two fireplaces complete the atmosphere of this traditionally built stone house. On the roof of the house there is a private garden with a jacuzzi and a panoramic view of the Cretan Sea.

On the ground floor of the house there is an equipped kitchen that includes a functional stone wood-burning stove with a bar area and a dining area. The house has all the necessary utility connections (water, electricity, sewage). During the renovation process, elements of the traditional Cretan building style were retained, such as stone walls and wooden doors, a fireplace and a wooden ceiling.

Maroulas village is located only 8 km from Rethymno, in a green oasis of olive groves, carob and oak trees. Nearby there are taverns, markets, beach bars, bakeries, medical facilities.
