We are delighted to be able to offer this stone house in Stari Grad, which is meters from the waterfront! This traditional stone house in Stari Grad is arranged over three floors, with a living room and kitchen on the ground floor, a large shower room, and an excellent walk-in storage room. Stairs to the first-floor landing lead to another shower room and a large room. This was originally two smaller rooms and is currently arranged as a living room and which also has a basic kitchen area. Both these rooms have doors from the hallway. Interconnecting from the large room is a bedroom which in turn connects to another bedroom. This last bedroom also has access from the hallway.

Stairs to the top floor lead to a good size bedroom; in addition, there is a large room with a run of windows across the room’s width. From this room is a rooftop view of the town.

The town of Stari Grad can be traced back to 2,000BC when it was initially called Pharos, after the Greek city of the same name. It has many little side streets where one can stumble upon the quaintest of family-owned restaurants offering a mouth-watering selection of local cuisine. Stari Grad also has a record-beating number of cafe bars, which is a prerequisite to the Mediterranean style of life. The local area also boasts some excellent beaches in the vicinity.

Stari Grad ferry port which lies on the outskirts of the town, is home to Jadrolinija, which offers a comprehensive service to the mainland with up to 6 ferry crossings in the summer months. Nearby the town of Jelsa has a daily catamaran service also run by Jadrolinija to Split via the town of Bol on Brac Island. While in the other direction, the famous town of Hvar is only a 20-minute drive.
