This very attractive villa is of modern design but incorporates some interesting stone features giving a rustic atmosphere. Part of the house was originally an old stone house, and the owners were careful to retain some of the characterful features.

The front door opens straight into the double height sitting room, this was the old part of the house and has an exposed stone wall and beautiful fireplace built of old bricks. Large patio windows open onto the covered terrace, an ideal spot for outside dining and from which to enjoy the view across Corfu town to the mountains beyond.
At the other end of the sitting room is a mezzanine level built of oak, and a step leading down into the newer end of the house and the kitchen. The kitchen is modern, with black cupboards and white worktops, totally in keeping with the overall atmosphere of the house.

Leading off from the kitchen is a corridor leading to two double bedrooms and a large bathroom. Each of the bedrooms has a patio window leading out to the terrace.

Entry to the master bedrooms suite is from the mezzanine above the sitting room. The room is very large, with high vaulted ceilings, patio windows leading to a big terrace, and in one corner of the room is a jacuzzi spa bath. With a spacious dressing area and an ensuite shower room, this master suite is very luxurious.

Outside is a swimming pool, with plenty of paved areas for sunbathing or relaxing in the shade.

The house also has full central heating, air conditioning and doors and windows are double glazed. Although the plot is relatively small there is plenty of space to park several cars, and a driveway to the side of the house leading to a double garage. Just a short drive into Corfu town, the property is conveniently placed. East or west coast beaches are within easy reach.
Previously a very successful holiday rental, the villa would also be ideal for year round living.
