About The Development

The Algarve Race Resort is located next to The Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, one of the most impressive racing circuits in the world. Designed by architect Ricardo Pina and completed in 2008, the area also includes a karting track, off-road track, technology park, five-star hotel and sports complex.  The circuit regularly hosts international racing events, and it might be familiar to TV viewers, because the debut episode of Amazon Prime’s huge motoring show ‘The Grand Tour’ was filmed here in 2016 - taking the 3 supercars – McLaren P1, Porsche 918, Ferrari LaFerrari – to their limits. (Spoiler alert: Jeremy Clarkson lost the bet.) Whether you’re a racing fan, or an amateur or experienced driver, there are exciting opportunities for you here. Drive sports cars such as the Porsche Cayman S, Audi RS3 or Audi TTS. Or maybe you just want to improve your driving skills and get to know how to be safer on the roads.

But that’s not all. Nature enthusiasts have gorgeous peaceful countryside to enjoy, including biking and hiking trails, wine tasting tours, and adventures by boat into the Algarve caves. Location

The apartments are located in the Mexilhoeira Grande area, bordered in the North by Monchique, by Portimão in the South East and Alvor to the South. Complete with a small harbour, pretty waterfront with fishing boats and an old town of winding cobbled streets, Alvor oozes authentic Portuguese charm. For such a small village, Alvor houses a good selection of seafood restaurants, shops and bars, so there’s plenty to keep you occupied.
